The story of 3♥️4♥️

Playing "The Coot", also known as the 3♥️4♥️, has become all the rage in the poker world. Players are on a mission to play "The Coot", share their story and get featured as an Elite Member of the Coot Club. Here is how it all began.

Coot's big moment came at the 2025 WSOP Monster Stack Event when he reached the final table. The day before, he was chatting to one of his best friends before the start of Day 4...."Promise me one thing. Please play 34 of hearts the first time you see it. It means a lot to my family and you will not lose with that hand." Coot made the promise.

Coot never saw the 3♥️4♥️ that day, but ended up making the final table of seven. The plan was to play solid at the final table and only take calculated risks. Well that didn't last long.

Early in the live streamed Monster Stack final table and blinds at 1.2/2.5 Million, poker pro David Uvaydov with 97M chips raised in the small blind. Coot, in the big blind, looked down at 3♥️4♥️. Coot had made a promise to his friend. In the biggest moment of his poker career, Coot trusted his friend and kept his promise.

"I call."

Jeff Platt and Brent Hanks were announcing the action.

"Coot gettin' after it!"

The flop came out K♣️9♣️A♥️. David checked. Coot had absolutely nothing. With calm and smoothness, Coot fired out 7.5M.

"I thought Uvaydov was going to try and steal it on the flop. Instead, it's Coot with 4-high!"

David gave it some thought and folded.

"Nicely done"

"Well done"

"The Dentist!"

Coot won the hand and collected some valuable chips. He would eventually bow out in 6th for his best finish at the WSOP.
